Tiap Hari, Android Tambah Ribuan Pengguna

Jakarta - Android bak cendawan di musim hujan. Dalam satu hari setidaknya ada 200.000 ponsel berbasis Android yang diaktifkan. Ini menandakan geliat sistim operasi Google itu mulai tumbuh pesat.

Laporan yang detikINET kutip dari Tg Daily, Jumat (6/8/2010) memperlihatkan, terdapat peningkatan 25% dari tujuh minggu lalu, yakni saat Google mematok tingkat aktivasi fanatik Android yang sangat mengesankan, sebesar 160.000 unit per hari.

"Mengetahui ada 200.000 smartphone Android yang diaktifkan per hari, memperlihatkan bahwa Android tak sekedar fenomena melainkan kesuksesan dalam tingkat pertumbuhannya," kata CEO Google Eric Schmidt.

Sementara itu, Vlad Bobleanta, seorang pengamat dari UnWired View menyebutkan, Android potensial bersaing ketat dengan BlacBerry dan saat ini menjadi sistim operasi kedua di dunia yang laris dipakai.

"Android hanya perlu tumbuh 50 persen lagi agar setara dengan Symbian, atau sama dengan penambahan 300.000 unit penjualan smartphone Android setiap harinya," kata Bobleanta.

Menurutnya, beragam perangkat Android baru seperti Motorola Droid 2, Samsung Galaxy S, HTC Desire Z, HTC Desire HD dan sebagainya akan sangat membantu Android terus tumbuh.

Samsung Galaxy S Pro With Keyboard Rumored

There are touchscreen only fans and hardware keyboard fans and some folks are adamant about having it one way or another.
