Ideos , Android Murah dari Huawei

Jakarta - Huawei melancarkan gebrakan harga murah dalam upayanya memenangkan perang ponsel Android. Huawei Ideos yang dibenamkan sistem operasi Android 2.2 cuma dibanderol USD 150 atau sekitar Rp 1,4 juta.

Tak pelak, kehadiran Ideos bak menjadi terapi kejut bagi vendor ponsel Android lainnya. Maklum saja, Android selama ini masih identik dengan ponsel kelas atas dengan harga yang kurang ramah kantong.

Seandainya pun ada ponsel Android yang harganya tak terlalu mencekik, namun versi OS Android yang ditawarkan masih yang seri-seri awal, seperti Andrid 1.5 atau 1.6. Nah, kondisi inilah yang sepertinya bakal dimanfaatkan oleh Huawei dengan melepas Ideos ke pasaran.

"Dengan bangga kami memperkenalkan smartphone terbaru Huawei yang seharga USD 150. Dengan kemampuan yang mempesona, Ideos akan menjadi pilihan yang terjangkau," tukas Kevin Tao, CEO Huawei Device.

Ideos sendiri merupakan jenis ponsel pintar yang sudah support konektivitas HSPA 3G, memiliki akses Wi-Fi, bahkan bisa difungsikan sebagai Wi-Fi router. Jika tak ada aral melintang, Ideos akan dilepas secara resmi ke pasaran pada pertengahan Oktober 2010.

"Popularitas smartphone akan menjadi faktor kunci untuk membawa masyarakat ke arah 'Golden Age of Mobile Broadband'. Dan kami coba menghadirkan Ideos yang didesain khusus untuk meminimalisasi hambatan dalam mengakses mobile internet," imbuh Kevin, dikutip detikINET dari Cellular News, Jumat (3/9/2010).

Detail spesifikasi Ideos sendiri masih agak misterius. Namun tetap saja, iming-iming harga yang ditawarkan harusnya cukup menghentak para vendor lain yang juga mengusung jajaran ponsel Android.

Samsung Galaxy S Pro With Keyboard Rumored

There are touchscreen only fans and hardware keyboard fans and some folks are adamant about having it one way or another.
