Ziio, Tablet Android Murah dari Creative

Jakarta - Creative bikin kejutan. Vendor yang dikenal dengan produk pemutar musik ini tiba-tiba terjun meramaikan pasar komputer tablet dengan merek Ziio.

Tablet Creative Zioo menggandeng OS Android 2.1 dan memiliki dua pilihan ukuran, 7 Inch serta 10 Inch. Harganya pun tak terlalu menguras kantong. Di Amerika Serikat, tablet ini rencananya dibanderol USD 279 atau sekitar Rp 2,5 juta saja untuk versi 7 Inch.

Seperti dilansir PCWorld dan dikutip detiKINET, Rabu (3/11/2010), Creative menyatakan tablet besutannya akan mulai dipasarkan Desember 2010. Tablet ini rencananya bakal dijual di berbagai belahan dunia.

Salah satu kelebihan Ziio adalah kompatibel dengan perangkat musik Creative. Kualitas suara pun diklaim mumpuni dengan codec Apt-X dan pemrosesan audio khas Creative yang dinamakan X-Fi. Sedangkan aplikasinya disediakan via toko aplikasi ZiiStore.

Creative Ziio didayai prosesor ZMS-08 (ARM Cortex A8) dan mampu memutar video 1080p. Kemudian ada dua buah kamera, Wi Fi, slot MicroSD sampai port HDMI.

Strategi Creative menyasar segmen tablet dengan harga terjangkau sepertinya tepat. Hal ini bisa menjadi alternatif bagi yang merasa iPad atau Galaxy Tab kemahalan. ( fyk / eno )

Tablet Android Pesaing iPad Hanya Rp2 Juta

Archos 7 Home Tablet ( IST ) INILAH.COM, Jakarta – Apple akan mendapat saingan baru di pasar tablet PC selain Dell dan Samsung. Tablet versi Android dipasarkan dengan harga sangat murah Rp 2 juta. Archos mengeluarkan produk yang disebut tablet layar lebar pertama berbasis Android, Archos 7 Home Tablet. Produsen lain memang juga memiliki produk tablet Android. Andy Rubin Shows Off Android 3.0 On Prototype Motorola Tablet

Devin Coldewey 8 hours ago Andy Rubin is, as I type this, in the middle of a demo of Android 3.0 (AKA Honeycomb) at Dive Into Mobile. The rest of his talk I’ve got written up elsewhere, but this was too cool to pass up. The software is running on a prototype MOTOPAD that looks really slick, though it was only out for a moment and there are but few pictures at the moment. I’ll be updating this post as more information breaks. First thing he showed off was a new lock screen and then what appeared to be a brand new “desktop” with widgets and buttons in the corners.
