Google hari ini memperkenalkan Google Play, dimana kita bisa mengakses film, aplikasi, buku, dan games atau semua digital konten dari google dari satu tempat baik diakses dari web maupun dari android. Ini berarti akan memudahkan user maupun developer, karena semua akhirnya menjadi satu, ini juga menggantikan dan memperluas Android Market yang selama ini menjadi tempat untuk mengakses aplikasi android dari google.

Jadi secara sederhana ini adalah market konten terintegrasi-nya google, dan menjadi tanda bahwa google sudah siap menjadi pemain konten dunia, dengan akses dari berbagai macam device, misalnya smartphone Android , Tablet Android, Android TV, ataupun device lain yang sudah lama di perkenalnya yaitu Chrome Book, atau juga device umum Desktop maupun Laptop.

Google play ini berbasis cloud, jadi misal anda membeli buku, anda bisa mengaksesnya dimana saja, semoga sudah juga meng-implementasikan offline storage, jadi kita bisa menyimpan konten buku atau konten lain secara offline meskipun koneksi terputus.

Sesuai dengan pengumuman, dengan adanya transisi ini tidak ada perubahan dalam mengakses android market untuk user maupun developer . Semoga kedepan ada update yang signifikan, terutama untuk indonesia, dimana developer bisa secara langsung menjual aplikasinya, dan user bisa dengan mudah membeli aplikasi.

Motorola Devour specs: 3.1-inch screen, Android 1.6, MotorBLUR

Here we go with the phone formerly known as the Calgary, which we're expecting on Verizon anytime now. (Yes, that's a Droid in the picture above. We're told that's just a placeholder.) New 3D Android tablet will not require glasses

Rockchip has introduced their new 3D Android tablet this week, one that will be glasses-free while still giving owners full 3D support. The tablet will use autostereoscopic technology, the same displays that will be available in the unreleased Nintendo 3DS . Users can adjust the amount of 3D, and even disable it completely. Rockchip has dubbed their tablet the Supernova x1 but little will be known officially about the device until the IFA in September. Pictures show a 3.4-to-4-inch screen, a microSD slot, a USB port , SES Astra's 3D channel and volume controls.
